We have gathered memories to reaffirm our present because our ancestral past inspires us. It all began with a white cotton thread dyed in indigo, our blue gold, a discovery made by our ancestors and passed down from generation to generation. Thread by thread the textile is built with a rudimentary instrument; embraced by the master craftswoman, the waist loom is still alive, worked and taught in the town of Panchimalco, El Salvador. Our design work leads us to appreciate these two legacies, indigo dyeing and weaving on a waist loom, taking advantage of all the technical possibilities to create exquisite products with timeless proposals that break new ground, leaving aside fast fashion for its content and rich craftsmanship.
