Fordistas itself was the mystery of the unknown known: a multi-platform art-plus-[x] project that changes form, based in Miami. On first contact, it was difficult to determine what it was. In retrospect, the conversation, both the invitation and the project management, are really what the brand is all about. If the purpose of art is, as James Baldwin says, "to expose the questions that have been hidden by the answers", then this project began by trying to answer "what are Fordists about?" In the form and in the process - the invisible layers that circumscribe the content of this project - it became clear that it is about becoming a stage, a focus, a microphone.
