The Águas Limpas project makes sponges for cleaning out of fishing nets, collected from the network restoration sheds and directly from the local fishermen. The goal of the project is to remove these polyamide nets from the sea and give them a sustainable destination. The product differential is the durability compared to conventional sponges that on average after 15 days of use will stop in the landfills. This project is already marketed on a small scale, generating benefits by reusing community disposal and offering clean craftwork. We aim to show that it is possible to create sustainable products that bring solutions for the consumption of priority objects.
Asociados con Apremavi (Associação de Preservação do Meio Ambiente e da Vida) han conseguido, mediante la iniciativa intensa y exitosa de protección y recuperación de la Mata Atlántica, obtener recursos para la plantación de árboles nativos y llevar a cabo un trabajo de sensibilización ambiental en las escuelas de la región de Vale do Itajaí. Ofrecen cursos de teñido natural y ecoprint en tela y papel.
